Recently I have been getting into country music. however, I only like listening to female singers in that genre. you can tell that using AND controlling their voice. a lot of male country singers kinda sound the same to me. it's weird how I've lived in texas and hardly heard any female country singers. the only I actually heard was American girl by Carrie underwood (from coming across a random music video) and Dolly Parton (Hannah Montana cameo). the rodeos and fairs that I went to only played men. it would be the all the same stuff, too! "out with my friends with a six-pack and some red cups, woo wee women in short shorts partying with us." is the summary of what they sang. meanwhile, a lot of the women in country music have a lot of variety in the topics they sing. I'm glad that I gave it a chance again. their backs must be cramping up from holding up this damn genre.
